First and foremost, we hope that your family is doing well and are happy and healthy during the given times.
Due to the pandemic, last year’s golf outing was postponed and rescheduled for August. Fortunately, it was a huge success! After many conversations with the PLL Board, baseball friends, and community members, we are moving forward with our sixth annual golf outing. Please know that we realize that many families are still experiencing health concerns and financial setbacks, but we also realize that it would be a great opportunity to bring our baseball community back together and celebrate one another.
In years past, the overall goal of this outing has been to assist the league financially. While the league is in need of monetary assistance, just like many of our local businesses, we also believe that coming together as a community will be the ultimate outcome of this outing.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the PLL Golf Committee won’t be pressuring local business for funds again this year. This in turn will have an impact on our prizes / giveaways. All signs that were posted on tee boxes last year will yet again be placed on tee boxes for free this year. We will still provide the opportunity to sponsor a hole if interested but will not ask previous sign sponsors to pay again this year (unless they would like to make a donation).
If you are a returning golfer and find yourself in financial distress, we apologize to place you in this position. If you feel you’d still like to play but would like to delay your payment and perhaps split your payment, please email Matt Croyle directly to discuss ([email protected]).
The sixth annual Pennridge Little League golf outing will now be held on Monday, April 26th at 1:00PM. We are looking for coaches, parents, and community members to take some time off work, tee it up, and support our league. The golf outing will be held at Fox Hollow Golf Course (https://www.foxhollowpa.com/) and we are excited about the opportunity, once again, to bring our community together for a great cause. The round of golf (scramble format), includes green fees, cart, a chance to win some prizes, food and beverage before and after the round, and a lot of laughs, will cost $100. Our online registration system will take your credit card payment.
There is also the opportunity to purchase a tee sponsorship for only $50! Feel free to promote your business or create your own sign to be read by all! Opportunities to make financial donations and donate prizes are also available. If interested in a tee sponsorship, our online registration link will have the necessary information. We will try to honor all requests for “playing partners”; however, please consider making sure your team members request the same information. We are hopeful that we continue our tradition of getting 100 plus golfers.
